How should we judge the quality of the speaker system?

The main technical indicators and personal experience to judge the quality of the speaker system: The quality of the overall technical indicators of the speaker system depends on the quality of each unit. If the technical indicators of each unit in the system are high, then the overall technical indicators of the system are very good. There are six main technical indicators: frequency response, signal-to-noise ratio, dynamic range, distortion, transient response, stereo separation, and stereo balance.

Frequency response: The so-called frequency response refers to the frequency range of the audio equipment during playback, and the relationship between the fluctuation of the sound wave and the change of frequency. Generally, the frequency fluctuation of 1000Hz is used as a reference for the detection of this indicator, and the frequency fluctuation is expressed in decibels (dB) in logarithms. The overall frequency response of the audio system is theoretically required to be 20-20000Hz. In actual use, it is often impossible to meet this requirement due to reasons such as circuit structure and component quality.

But generally it should reach at least 32-18000Hz. The frequency response range refers to the range of the sound frequency band that the speaker can reproduce, usually expressed in Hz~kHz. Because the human ear can hear the upper limit of the frequency range is 20Hz~20kHz, with the increase of age, the human ear's hearing will drop to about 25Hz~16kHz. Therefore, as a pair of excellent speakers, its frequency response range must reach or exceed this range.
